✔ Confidential ✔ Reliable ✔ Compliance ✔ Monitoring
European road transport supply chains run across 27 EU member states, each subject to EU regulations but also with their own legal regimes. Truck drivers of diverse nationalities are the backbone of these supply chains. Yet lack of awareness, enforcement problems, and opaque systems of employment and subcontracting leave these workers exposed to labour and human rights violations. New mandatory human rights due diligence laws make this situation a major reputational and business risk for customer companies who ship their goods by road.
The RTDD Foundation helps companies mitigate risks by assessing levels of compliance, and identifying infringements and non-compliance. This is done through an innovative and confidential approach to worker-centred supply chain monitoring known as Road Transport Due Diligence (RTDD). Companies can actively fulfil their due diligence obligations by working with the Foundation.
